i have to say i like most of what u said...however the lag problem u described is very exaggerated, even for consoles. I mean, yea sure every once in a while a European guy might have problems...but thats about all. And yes i play on a console, and there is very rarely any more than a fraction of a second of lag.

If consoles actually have a lag problem as you described, I can't believe anyone actually plays on them, and it seems that it would completely destroy the delicate immediacy of combat in COD4.

I play on PC and can't imagine having even a fraction of a second lag in this game. Shame on consoles for releasing games like this if their networks provide sub par lpaying experiences.

I don't have a console and am not privy to the intricacies of console networking, but I am familiar with networking and if they want to support online play - they should have dedicated servers.

Not to start a battle but this is one reason I prefer PC - the gigantic online support and content available.

Good tips - happy killing.

good tips! although i would tend to disagree with your advice on using the knife. the melee is very efficient with some practice and for me alot easier than pulling out the handgun or trying to back pedal with a primary weapon.

very helpful. The whole P2P lag thing was why i finally gave up playing on xbox live entirely. The dedicated servers on the PC version are much fairer, but your tactics about lag still apply even there.
